- Position: Cannabis Retail Strategist
- Reports to: President
- Location: Remote
- FLSA Status: Exempt
We are seeking a Cannabis Retail Strategist to provide expert consultation to new dispensary licensees, guiding them through the process of opening successful retail cannabis businesses. This role involves offering strategic planning, industry insight, and actionable recommendations to support clients in establishing and growing their dispensary businesses. The ideal candidate will leverage in-depth cannabis market knowledge to help clients navigate regulatory requirements, optimize store layout, develop marketing plans, and build an efficient operational model.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide strategic guidance to clients on cannabis dispensary setup and operations.
- Develop tailored business plans and compliance strategies to meet industry regulations.
- Advise on inventory management, customer experience, and marketing strategies.
- Conduct market analysis to inform client decision-making and competitive positioning.
- Support clients in building an effective team and operational workflows
Additional duties and projects will be assigned as needed.
Qualifications

- Proven experience in cannabis retail, cannabis retail consulting or similar strategic roles.
- Strong knowledge of cannabis industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Familiar with the major tech companies in the cannabis space
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, HubSpot, Online analytics, Google AdWords etc.)
